Caned Back Chair Inspiration

I am working on two caned back chairs right now, they are not quite blog ready, but they will be soon, so until then here are some before pics and some inspiration pics.  I can't wait to show you how these turned out! I found these at a local thrift store for $10 a each.  The gold spray paint is peeling off and there was was a large whole in the caning on the back of one of the chairs.  Want to know the worst part?  As I sand the edges I keep finding white with blue highlights.  I wish I could have seen what they looked like before the bronze/gold.

Now for some Caned Back Chair Eye Candy!!

I love the blue with the gold leaf, also that the caning is a different color!  Love Love Love!

I have wanted a caned back chair ever since I saw these pictures of one chair by Country Living Magazine!

The next three pictures are from Layla Grace!  So much inspiration there!!!

The last few pictures I found through Pinterest!

Love the black with the white chair pad and awesome black piping.
